This is a Matlab tutorial script for locating (rough approximation) the epicenter of an earthquake from various stations. Among many others approximations - simplifications, homogeneous earth is supposed so limited accuracy must be expected. This Example uses the EVENT 20080502231759 (that means an earthquake that took place on 2/May/2008 at 23:17:59 as was located from A.U.Th. Geophysical Lab.). It takes into account 11 P (of the total 44 P & S) phases found on Seismological Station of A.U.Th .
